It so great over all, thank you.i use them on my GMC and FORD for many years now. I like the bigger filter size of the 3980 on my V6. finally got a filter wrench but it is just as easy to twist off with the grip coating. also use Fram filters on my westerbeke marine diesel.Perfect fit for my 1993 LT1 Corvette. I do like the grip material on these.Great price and easy to install on my 4.3 Vortec. The grip makes it a breeze. Replaced this piece of junk K&N, the metal was so soft on it I couldn’t get it off with a wrench, and having a couple millimeters of paint on it didn’t help. Had to use a vice grip to remove it! Only Fram filters from now on.GoodTests done on Fram Ultra Synthetic (XG) filters show the highest efficiency for 20 micron particles. Efficiency at 15 microns is exceptional too.Dose the job for cheapEasy to install and easy to tighten with the grip on the end. Says it works up to 10,000 mi which should be great value for the moneyGood price - used on my 4.3L Mercruiser for oil change. These are great since you don't need a wrench to get them on or off as long as you have decent grip strength. Just make sure to check for leaks in the Spring when you start up again.I've always trusted Fram oil filters, getting familiar with Amazon products and delivering, due to moving to a town with less amenitiessatisfied with product, would buy againits a oil filterExact same filter at auto parts store much cheaper.
