works perfectly. most likely out of the same factory that the painted black suzuki filters come from. do your oil change every 100 hrs or before, and you're golden. Been using on my charter boat for years, that gets run daily. no issues.The filter wouldn’t fit though I’ve bought it twice before this time the factory threads didn’t match. Oddly enough it’s the same part number as the filter I was removing.I tried to return it but due to it having oil in it as I pre charge my filters Amazon wouldn’t take it back! $20 down the drain!Note that this filter is not actually a Suzuki oil filter, but a Sierra replacement. The picture and description and title is clearly Suzuki, but what is delivered is a Sierra oil filter. This is deceptive, so buyer beware.As expected.no problemsWorks fine for Suzuki DF 175.
